The case construction of the new RM12-01 Tourbillon watch follows the three-way principle, combining all the cases together. The lines of the movement are inspired by the structural form of the building’s design, with the tube-like inclined structure offering optimum stiffness and torsional rigidity and excellent heat and corrosion resistance.
The function of the bottom plate is uniquely integrated with the function of the movement and bridge, forming a technically coherent and visually inseparable whole. The movement is proudly displayed through a perfect combination of grinding, satin finishing, circular finishing and high finish.
Its one-piece bottom plate is inspired by a racing chassis, with increased stiffness and impact resistance, and features the sharp, streamlined curves of the hollow bridge surrounding the spring box, wheel and tourtouron radiating to the end of the manual upper chain movement.
